Project Description

Amicus Horizon appointed us early to assist in delivering a planning permission on a site former residential block that had been historically threatened by land slips. The proposals were to bring mainly large family homes back into a part of the Ore Valley that was short of larger family units.

Added Value

Due to the complex history of the site, having suffered from land slips nearby and a historical demolition of a previous residential use, we co-ordinated a number of site and ground investigations to help steer the design and provide cost certainty for our client.

We worked with the architect to make use of the findings of our site investigations to provide a technical construction solution that reduced overall scheme costs and provided the client with all their requirements despite the challenges posed by the site's nature.
